Our Mission

Founded in 2024, the mission of The Booklight Project is to present unique perspectives on a wide variety of literary topics that educate, enlighten, and inspire readers of all ages.

Literature is a survey of the human experience. A person who dives deeper into literature opens themselves up to new worlds, giving themselves the opportunity to move beyond their own, individual experiences and learn about and connect to the experiences of others.

Writers have always used writing as a way to make sense of their lives and the context in which they live. By doing so, they give us a snapshot of themselves and the world around them—and how these two things interact.
