When I'm not teaching, I work as a technical and marketing writer for a large gaming company. I didn't start out to become a writer. Like many others I've met who do similar work, I just kind of fell into it. And it turns out that I really, really enjoy it, so I've kept at it. The writing has allowed me to live and work in three countries (US, UK, and France), and meet loads of amazing people.
At other times, I can be found reading, rowing, practicing yoga, meditating, going to the gym, watching movies, or hanging out with my husband or friends.
A voracious reader since childhood, I always have at least one book on the go, sometimes two if I'm feeling particularly ambitious. (No e-readers here, thanks. I prefer good, old-fashioned paper books!)
Taking courses, travelling, and eating out are three of my favorite pastimes. And I also go through phases of attempting to improve my rudimentary grasp of the French language.
One of these days, I plan to re-start my piano practice...
